Paddling Out of Winter

It was technically still winter on Saturday morning and there was plenty of snow around, but that didn’t stop Richmond Scott from launching his stand-up paddle board in the North Branch of the Winooski River and bobbing through downtown Montpelier, VT. Scott was clad in a dry-suit and life jacket and cruised down into the Winooski River, headed for Middlesex, about ten miles downstream.
